Thursday, August 9th, 2012 at the Asheboro Public Library from 6pm to 8:30 pm the Randolph County Genealgical Society/NC will have a brief Board meeting. Following the meeting, we will have a "Workshop For Beginners". Our Society's mission statement is "to encourage people to pursue their family history". Our speaker will be Ricky Allred. He and several "seasoned"researchers will be on hand to answer questions, give people a "starting point" in their research. A "Starter Kit" will be provided and research can start immediately.
